MUMBAI: A woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her home in MIDC, Andheri. Her father, a police constable, found her body hanging from the ceiling at 5.30pm on Tuesday, police said.
According to the deceased's father, the victim did not like to be scolded and had attempted suicide before. He added that she might have committed the offence after she was denied going to college to meet her friends, MIDC police said. A case of accidental death has been registered.
