The city most stressed by Covid-19

Mumbai was India’s most stressed city during the lockdown, reporting a 48% increase in stress levels over April-June, a survey by mental health platform YourDost finds. Bengaluru and the National Capital Region were next. Students and working professionals were the most impacted cohorts, with concerns around work-life balance, pay cuts, job losses and postponement of exams. The result: increased irritability and anger. Mental health difficulties have been a rising concern amid the pandemic.
